- Primer and Premium Adhesive: Next, we apply a high-quality glass primer to both the bare frame and the edge of the new replacement glass. Once the primer flashes off, I lay down a consistent bead of fast-curing automotive urethane. The new vent glass is then set perfectly into place and taped down so it cures in the exact factory position.
