Sunroof Replacement for Tesla Cybertruck 2024-2027
The Cybertruck's massive glass roof is built tough, but a hard rock strike on the highway or falling debris can still crack it. When that armor glass breaks, you need a fix that matches the truck's heavy-duty engineering. I've spent years replacing auto glass, and pulling the roof panel on a 2024-2027 Cybertruck requires specific tools and a totally different approach than your average sedan.
Mobile Service Across the GTA
You don't have to drive a truck with a busted roof across town. We run a fully equipped mobile unit that comes directly to your driveway or workplace anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). My crew and I regularly handle heavy glass replacements in Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and Markham. We bring the shop to you, saving you the hassle of a tow or a drafty drive down the 401.
How We Replace Your Cybertruck Roof Glass
Swapping the top glass on a Cybertruck is heavy work. The sheer size of this panel means we follow a strict, step-by-step process to make sure it sits right and seals tight.
- Interior Protection: The very first thing I do is throw heavy drop cloths over your seats, dash, and center console. Broken glass likes to hide in tight spaces, and we make sure your cabin stays perfectly clean.
- Removal: We use an advanced wire-cutting system to slice through the factory urethane. This lets us pull the heavy damaged panel up and out without putting a single scratch on that stainless steel exoskeleton.
- Surface Cleaning: Once the old glass is out of the way, I shave the old adhesive down to the bare pinch weld. A clean, flat channel is the only way the new glass will bond properly. We vacuum away every last speck of dirt and old glue.
- Primer Application: Next, we apply a high-grade automotive glass primer to the frame. This preps the surface for the glue and stops any future rust dead in its tracks.
- Adhesive Installation: We lay down a thick, consistent bead of high-quality, fast-curing urethane. Then, using heavy-duty suction cups and an extra set of hands, we drop the new 2024-2027 Tesla-spec glass squarely into the frame. We press it in, tape it down, and let the urethane flash.
