If we leave a single handful of glass down near the bottom drain holes, it is going to rattle loud every time your rig hits a pothole. Worse, that old glass holds moisture and causes the bottom of the door shell to rust out from the inside.
Regulator and Track Inspection
Before we even think about dropping the fresh glass into the sash, we vacuum the entire shell. Then, we inspect the regulator gears. Shards of broken glass love to jam up the window motor teeth and snap the cables. We clear those out, grease the tracks, and make sure the new window rolls up and down smooth and straight without binding.
